Randolph Park or "Rudolph" as pronounced by Trey
We found a great park that reminded us of Liberty Park, with duck ponds, lots of recreational facilities, etc... This one is right by the zoo here in Tucson (which we didn't go to yet) and even has a golf course running through the middle. There was a mother goose who was sitting on her eggs when one rolled out from underneath her.
We felt so bad and wondered if she would take it back if we rolled it back up to her. Trey tried to get close to her egg, but she had a fit when he stepped near it. There were also 2 male geese guarding below and would snip at anyone passing too close to them. We sure hope she brought her egg back to her nest, poor thing!
My Sweet New Jacket
Daddy bought Trey this sweet new jacket! I wanted to show my sister so I kept asking Trey to take a picture, but he was grumpy the whole time. Sometimes it's like pulling teeth to get a picture from your kids, right!? But I finally got him to laugh! :) Love the sweet new jacket Trey! He wants to wear it all the time!
Preschool Fun
I've been enjoying teaching Trey Preschool while being out here in Tucson. He is so willing to learn and excited each day we have class. I've been keeping his same schedule that he had in Utah (MWF 1:00 - 3:00 PM) and taught him all about the letter U last week. This week I taught him all about St. Patrick's Day, the origin, leprechauns, pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, etc... We took a field trip outside or Trey called it the "Green Adventure" and looked for everything green around our apartment complex. He had so much fun! (The slide below shows the pics we took). We came home and made a collage from the pictures and leaves we collected. Then I taught him about shamrocks or clovers, also green, and got into St. Patrick's Day! I've had a lot of fun and it's so great when he will get a grin on his face and say, "Preschool today!?!" That makes it all worth it when I see him learning and excited about it!

25 Weeks along...
I finally took some pregnant pictures! I feel so bad that I'm taking my first pregnant pics 6 months along. With Trey, I took one every month but I have been so busy this past 6 months that I haven't taken any. This pregnancy has been completely different than Trey's. I was pretty sick the first trimester - food in general was gross to me. The second trimester was great and now entering the 3rd, I'm still feeling pretty good. She sits a lot lower than Trey did and likes to bounce on my bladder so I constantly feel the urge to pee. She also has pinched a nerve several times that will literally drop me to my knees. But what is exciting is doing it all over again, especially feeling her kick and move around. It's amazing how much you bond with this little one before you even meet them! Only 3 months to go before my baby girl is due!

Trey & his kitties
Trey loves playing with his kitties, especially since he hadn't seen them for a month. (Brent took them down with him to Tucson at the beginning of February). What's great is that Prince lets him just lay all over him. When he was "cuddling" with him a few days ago, Trey said, "Mom, take a picture!" So of course I did! By the way- Trey picked out his outfit, Superman cape and gloves... ??? Boys will be boys I guess! :)
My Love You Mommy
What is this pose???
My Grown-up boy... Trey Carter Bushman. Today I looked at him and couldn't believe how in the last couple of months he has grown up to be a "little man"! He is the sweetest boy when he gives me a kiss out of nowhere and tells me, "My love you, mommy!" He still likes to sleep with us at night, but I can't resist when he says, "Mom, let's cuddle!" He likes to tease Mom & Dad by saying one of us is the best cuddler, not the other. We have to tickle him if he says we are not the best cuddler until he changes his mind. He makes me smile everyday and I can't imagine my life without him! My sweet little Trey!
Bad Luck
So we have not had the best luck... Here is a simple list of crap that's happened to us! But among all the crap, the good things outweigh the bad by huge amounts! What matters most is that we have our health, we're together as a family with one on the way and we love eachother more than ever!
The Bad
1. Brent lost his job with Del Sol in October
2. Our investment ended up being a fraud (losing us quite a bit of money)
3. I had to go back to work full-time (which sucked being away from Trey)
4. Brent had to move down to Tucson a month earlier than us
5. On the way down to Tucson, Brent got in a car accident in Beaver (which he has always called "hell"... go figure)
6. Also on the way down, he got a $180 speeding ticket only going 67 (he thought the speed limit on a 6 lane highway would be 65, however it was 55)
7. We found out someone got a hold of his debit card # & pin # and was taking $300 out in Mexico
The Good
1. Brent found a job 2 months later with a medical device company - an industry he wanted to get into right after college! Which moved us to Tucson, AZ.
2. We are having a baby girl in June!!!
3. The job that I ended up taking allowed me to see Maroon 5 in an exclusive concert for only about 200 people and I was only about 6 feet away from the band!
4. We were able to sell our house in 2 days to move down to Tucson
5. The weather here is amazing! & we've already been out to the pool
6. THE BEST - we are now here all together as a family again!
7. OOH - perhaps even better, I don't have to work anymore! :)
8. Their are tons of TJ Maxx & Ross' down here in Tucson! & I found a really nice shopping center with "designer" shops like Armani, BCBG, etc...!
