Mother's Day

THIS...
is what life is all about!
Being a mom has changed my life. Motherhood has given me a new sense of purpose; the happiness of unconditional love; the feelings of pride, complete joy, and closeness to my Heavenly Father. I love seeing my children smile, laugh, learn new skills and best of all I love giving them hugs and kisses. They are what it's all about... they are why I'm here.

Dancing...

Trey woke me up on Mother's Day with a card he made. At church I was overwhelmed with a feeling of love as I directed the primary children in 2 Mother's Day songs. Watching Trey sing caused SEVERAL tears as I was so proud of him and when he sang the words, I knew he loved his mommy. Later that day, Brent and Trey surprised me with a dozen roses and candy. We walked to the park that evening and spent time as a family. I couldn't have asked for a better Mother's Day!

At Trey's school, they had "Muffins with Moms" where they celebrated the kids' moms. These were Trey's responses to some questions about his mom:

What is your Mom's Name? Allison
What does she do? Clean Dishes
How old is she? 10
How does Daddy call Mom? 269-3108
What is her favorite food? Cream of Wheat
What is her favorite TV show? The parade
Where does she like to take you? to the gym
What is her favorite color? pink & purple
My mom likes to.... paint the walls for fun
My mom likes to... read books with me
My mom and Dad like to.... color together
What message do you want to send her? I Love You!

They had made us cute flower pots with a picture of them sticking out of it and a few adorable pictures they colored.

I LOVE BEING A MOM!
