Decorating...

Okay, I had to post some pics of my bedroom! It only took us 3 years to paint it, and we mostly did it because we're moving. Why is it that you wait to do major changes until right before you move? Actually, I've only painted my bedroom recently, everything else in our house we have done. I just bought I new bedspread so I wanted to paint to match. My sister helped me paint the pictures in the bedroom! I also put a few pics of Trey's playroom because I finally got some cute red shelves from Ikea. I'll actually miss this house! It has been so fun to make our own!

Great Grandpa Bushman's 90th Birthday

Brent's Grandpa turned 90 and all his kids (7 of them I believe) put together a really nice party for him. Wow! There is a ton of posterity from Great Grandpa! Unfortunately, he was standing up to long and had been fasting the day of his party so he fainted. They took him to the hospital and gave him fluids. He is fine now... just a bummer that that happened at his birthday party. The cousins were so cute together and they took the bandanas (which were part of the table decor) and made capes. I got my baby fix holding Kayla (the newest addition to Ken and Linda's grandkids). Trey is always so sweet with her and he wanted to give her a kiss! The kids found the primary room and figured out how to turn on the microphone! Kennadee, Tyson and Kaitlyn sang away while Trey found the piano and accompanied them! It was nice to see all of the Bushman lineage which barely fit into the church gym. Oh... Ty and Ash, check out the second picture of Trey... like mother, like son! :) I couldn't stop laughing after I saw that picture!

We're Moving

We are moving to Florida! Brent accepted a job with Del Sol (the company we worked for in Hawaii and Michigan). His position is the Sales Director of retail stores in the Carribean and Central America. He will manage current stores in that area and scout out new locations for stores to open up. He will also work with the cruise lines to promote Del Sol's retail stores in the ports around the Carribean. He is very excited to use his Spanish again and to travel all around his territory! I am excited for the beach, SUN!!!, and humidity (yes, I'm weird and I love it!) It is bitter sweet as I will miss my family and friends dearly! We just hope many of you will come visit! (We will always have a place for visitors!) Brent will start his new job on May 13 here in Utah and then we will probably move out around the end of July, first of August. We are looking at buying a home in the Ft. Lauderdale area, where Brent's office will be. So... you better come visit!!!! We're just a few hours away from Disneyworld, Busch Gardens, the Keys, and a quick hour flight to the Bahamas!!! ENTICING????? I hope so! Oh... and of course like MINUTES away from the beach!

Okay, I meant to put this picture with the others, and I guess I missed it. My husband was so cute graduation day by telling me how proud he was and that this was "my day!" What a cutie! He bought me a massage when I graduated in December and then for the actual commencement day he bought me a mountain bike! It's sure nice to know that we still have that "lovin feelin" after all these years! LOVE YOU BABY!!!

Celebrate Good Times... Come On!

It finally feels "official"! I decided to "walk" at the commencement ceremony at UVSC (even though I graduated in December, they only have commencements in April). I am so glad that I did! My cute parents brought me balloons and posted a sign on the door... "awesome, dad!" :) and Brent's parents were so nice to come and support me as well! My friend, Lisa Edstrom and I walked together. My mom gave Trey some clapping hands so he could clap for his mommy! He was so cute when he saw me down below and used them all through the event (even when it was quiet... oops)! The most precious thing he said was when my mom said to him, "Trey look, mom is going to walk on the red carpet." He said to my mom, "When I'm bigger, bigger, bigger, I want to walk on the red carpet!" How cute! I'm so glad that I finished my college degree with a walk down the red carpet!
